Sept 12 - 09 Fall Brings Changes for All

Welcome, welcome, welcome. I am so proud to officially launch this website, which now serves as a venue for sharing and exchange of information related to yoga, Traditional Thai Massage, spiritual development, inspiration and truth.

The fall is such a wonderful time of transition and we are blessed not only with the brilliant colors which are a feast for our eyes, but the subtler energetic shifts and bigger life changes that transform into some endings and some new beginnings. It is important that you honor your own physiological, emotional, and mental shifts during this time, by nurturing your body and giving thanks for all that it has done for you this past season.

Here is an easy practice that I would like to share to help you maintain the balance of flow in your life. It has had profound results in my life and I know that it will also show the same results for you.

Practice of Gratitude

Take a few moments each morning when you wake up to think of all the things in your life that you are grateful for. As you do so, allow the feelings of gratitude to spread out to your family, your neighbours, your community, your country and the entire world. Really allow yourself to feel this gratitude, right to your core. Amazing huh?

If I were to ask you what your thoughts were about, I can bet that those things that you felt immediate gratitude for, were the things that have worked out rather effortlessly, to support your intentions and plans. But what about those outcomes that did not work out exactly as planned? Those relationships in your life that are a challenge? The things that you are working through?

I invite you to have gratitude for those things as well - all of them, no matter how frustrating they might have been at the time. Because the reality is, that when they pass and you are able to look back on the situation, it's pretty likely that the challenge was there to teach you something, a life lesson, to act as a mirror for your own actions, or to provide a glimpse into how your can live more truth in your life. For example, often times the relationships in our lives that are most challenging are the ones that we need to pay the most attention to, and will learn the most from, if we can be humble.

As Jack Canfield woud say, "the universe always conspires in your favor, for the greatest good of all beings", you just have to trust, notice and be open to what it brings.

But the first step is the practice of GRATITUDE. Like yoga, I say it is a practice, because at first it takes work, and when things are not going right, it does not always come easy. BUT, the more that we practice gratitude in our lives, the more abundance comes our way.

Try it and let me know what happens for you.

Stay tuned for my next blog, where I will share some exciting news on a transition to a new treatment space...ohh so exciting.

Happy Transitions,

Namaste,

Carrie
