2010-01-01 Beginning a new chapter
Happy New Year Everyone...wow 2010 is here. I remember my parents always saying, "the older you get, the faster time passes by." I remember thinking that all I wanted to do was get older, faster, or get past this, so that I could do that. I never really understood what they meant? Did the hours on the clock really turn faster in an older person's life? Hmmm.
2009 brought my 36th birthday and an unprecedented evolution of change in my life. It is not that this change was brought upon me, rather I brought it on myself, through the learned and explored process of manifestation. Highlights included a spectacular spiritual trip to Peru, proud self-realizations and learnings through my own work, the growth of a new and passionate business, the growth of many cherished friendships and community, a move to a spectacular new home and the development of a private, yoga therapy studio - a dream that I have had for many years now.
Looking back at everything, the transitions and change and development and growth - I now fully understand what my parents were talking about! Life moves faster indeed. Not in actual time, but realized time. The realization of the potential, or loss of potential, that is out of reach, each day that we pass by NOT following are truest heart's desire, living our dreams.
There is no time like the present, and no time to waste. I encourage you to take small steps to live fully in freedom and truth - as that will not only serve you, but the entire world.
We watched a touching impactful movie tonight, called Akeela and the Bee (2006). Some great messages there. The main actress quotes a line from Marianne Williamson, that speaks to this perfectly. I invite you to hear it loud and clear.
On that note, I want to share that the final touches are going into the studio this weekend. Monday starts our open houses. Please come by and check it out and come share in my dream.
All the best to you,

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. ~Marianne Williamson
